Ave Lynn is the latest moniker from Dutch singer Evelien Scheers. In and outside Holland she did quite a few performances, festival gigs and club tours including Nighttown, Tivoli and even the Gelredome as front woman of indie rock bands such as Avalene, member of a hip hop crew and her Dutch solo project Evelien Scheers. Also on radio and TV. She then took a sabbatical from professional music to focus on family life. Soon, as blood is thicker than water she’s making a comeback collaborating again with high school friend and producer Bas te Braak (Inf, Smeeagain) and brand new indie label ‘We Are Home …’(part of the Aviary Bridge Records umbrella).

Ave Lynn puts her heart into her music, talking about relational struggles, feelings of awe and lessons learned. Openly questioning why women are still so often marginalized, without intending to diminish the value of men or others. With her voice, as flexible and fluid as modern day music, she can get you pumped or just mellow you out, leaving a lasting impact.
