Ave Lynn is the latest moniker of Dutch singer Evelien Scheers. She has a lot of experience performing, both in the Netherlands and abroad. From club shows (Nighttown, Tivoli) to festivals (Huntenpop) and even the grand Gelredome. Over the years, she’s shown how versatile she is — as the lead singer of indie rock bands like Avalene, in groups like Charing X and WYSIWYG, as part of the hip-hop crew Monotypes, and with her Dutch-language songs under her own name.

First EP in 2024: Unfolding Stories – Chapter One

In April 2024, Ave Lynn released her first EP: Unfolding Stories – Chapter One. It is produced by Inf, a well-known name in the lo-fi scene, and combines neo-soul, smooth jazz, and hiphop.

Second EP in 2025: Fragments of Growth

This time, Ave Lynn worked with Jordan River Banks, the producer behind multiple albums of Killah Priest, who is connected to the legendary Wu-Tang Clan. The new EP has more of an experimental hip hop feel.

New collabs result in third EP and two singles

In 2026, EP number three will follow in collaboration with producer QX. Expect dark, experimental electronic bass.

And even before the announcement of a third EP Ave Lynn surprises with not one, but two singles created with different producers.

In December ‘25, just before autumn faded into winter, she released Stillness of Fall, a collaboration with producers Oaty. and Inf, featuring trumpeter Prime8. The track carries a reflective, seasonal calm — only to be followed at the end of January by a release of an entirely different nature.

“Where reggae meets neo-soul” reads the subtitle of Détente, a single created with Desh.Dubs. This collaboration is marked by a series of remarkable coincidences: the two artists meet for the very first time on stage, exchanging their first words through song.

Desh.Dubs, an artist with Zambian roots, seamlessly blends reggae, dancehall, afrobeats and R&B into a signature sound. “‘Détente’ is about finding peace after conflict — in love, in life, and within ourselves,” says Desh.Dubs. A powerful metaphor for a release that explores the complexity of a relationship that endures after weathering a succession of storms.
